We’re on the lookout for a phenomenal Head of Production to join our team with proven senior management experience in a highly dynamic and creative environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing solutions that push innovative boundaries. You’ll work closely with executives to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success at Luma.
You Can: Maintain an overview of all the current projects ensuring they are completed to the highest standard achievable. Help triage / shuffle based on the Global needs of the company and not just show specific. Liaise with Producers on a daily / weekly basis to help prioritize show needs and guide the team towards a smooth show delivery. Assess and allocate VFX needs to each project as per priority.Closely monitor project budgets and ensure they are within approved thresholds. Conduct regular show meetings to ensure they are working within given targets.Work closely with the Head of Studio and CEO to establish approved budgets at the start of every project.Provide support, mentoring and training to the Production team as necessaryManage the Global team of Producers / Associate Producers and be the point of contact for issues arising in projects. Provide recommendations and /or escalate the issues to the Head of Studio and CEO.Help solidify current processes and create new ones for a global, unified approach to productionProvide administrative / management support for scheduling and approving PTO requests of the Global Production team. Be responsible for recruitment and daily management of the Global Production team. Take joint responsibility for new show pipeline needs and proceduresQuickly adapt to changing priorities and new information
You Have:At least 5 years of VFX Producer experience on Feature Film and Television ProjectsAbility to cater to clients and manage their expectationsExcellent business acumen with an ability to financial responsibilities with company and client expectations.Thorough understanding of the VFX Production pipeline and Post Production in generalExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong organizational skills, along with strengths in scheduling, tracking and resource management skillsCreative problem solving skills and can be collaborative and resourceful when neededHigh level of initiative and are a self-starterExtremely organized and proficient in leading teams and overseeing multiple project schedules in process simultaneously across different time zonesAbility to work well under pressure and with strict deadlinesStrong knowledge of the Visual Effects Industry and current market conditionsExperience recruiting production staff

An excellent VFX Producer when in neededAble to forecast and project crewing needs and costs for all showsAble to take joint responsibility with the Executive Producer and Bidding Producer for new business meetings and biddings.
