And now we're excited to add a Marketing Coordinator to the team!
Reporting to the Executive Director, Brand Marketing this role will work across all departments within Luma to oversee the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business.
This role is open for either our LA or Vancouver studio.
Coordinate production of compelling and interactive visual content to share across digital platforms and support press and recruiting opportunities, including, but not limited to, VFX imagery, showreels and in progression contentDevelop project briefs for development of marketing assetsCoordinate all aspects of awards submissions, from working with editorial to create awards reels, to confirming facility nominees and recording voice oversMaintain marketing team awareness and understanding of ongoing VFX projects via regular meetings with internal production teams and management of key tools such as trackers, calendars, etc.Coordinate with external PR team to set meetings, deliver assets, and secure appropriate print and digital press opportunities with trade and mainstream industry publications alike to promote our VFX work, talent and technologyBuild and maintain excellent relationships with key external parties such as journalists, media outlets, studios, conference organizers, and software vendorsLiaise with clients on securing content approvals and aligning with the studio's overall marketing strategy for the projectResearch public speaking opportunities for our key spokespeople and works alongside them to put together presentations, ensures the messaging is in keeping with the company's overall strategyContribute to development of marketing strategy, including analysis of competitive landscape and industry trends
2-3 years experience working in a coordination capacity within the VFX industry or marketingExcellent written and verbal communicationTeam player with great approach to collaborationSelf-starter with proven experience in multi-tasking and managing multiple projectsProficiency in collaboration and productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
