The ideal candidate:
You have an innate drive to learn, create, and experiment, and like wearing many hats, from backend pipeline development, to RnD. You can explain complex ideas verbally and through text, and you're comfortable leading open source initiatives with outside vendors and companies (some projects where we were major contributors include arnold-usd, maya-usd, rez, MtoA, FumeFx for Maya/Arnold, USD for Atoms Crowd).

You Have:6+ years experience working as a Developer in VFX or AnimationProven experience writing pipeline tools and designing workflowsExperience with SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience with LinuxMaster knowledge of pythonCompetency with C/C++Understanding of git, unittesting, and CIAdvanced knowledge of at least two of the following: Maya, Nuke, Houdini, Katana, shader writing / renderingExpert problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to self-manage, prioritize and work to deadlinesApproachable, proactive, and accommodating attitudeInnate desire to stay informed of current technologies
Experience with UnrealExperience developing pipelines with USD
