Luma is a world class creative studio with offices in Los Angeles and Melbourne. We build compelling art and technology with a strong focus on company culture. We formed in 2002 with the unwavering goal to create standout work with exceptional people…and to have a lot of fun along the way.
Throughout the years, we’ve expanded beyond our roots in VFX into original content, venture capital and now, social impact. Legacy, launched in 2020, is Luma’s newest segment focused on improving underlying societal problems through the mediums of media, technology, and culture. We recognize the role that creative culture plays in shifting discourse and are committed to fighting injustice and inspiring active civic participation through this lens.
Luma is offering a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of the growing Legacy team. Reporting into the Head of Social Good, this position will be instrumental in bringing Legacy’s first initiatives to market. Functionally speaking, you will oversee the tactical implementation of these initiatives, including developing project plans, timelines, conducting market research, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
You will be an ideal fit if you are hyper-organized and process driven, adept at cultivating authentic relationships with partners, and comfortable using data and insights to anchor your approach. You should also have a deep understanding of digital outreach, communications platforms, and social media. Most of all, you have a deep commitment to leaving the world more equitable, joyful and just than you entered it and are ready to roll up your sleeves in pursuit of wildly ambitious goals.
Luma Legacy is committed to building a diverse team to take on some mighty challenges and we strongly encourage people of color, women, LGBTQ individuals, and people with disabilities to apply.
